Test Preparation Tips
Being prepared for tests/quizzes should start on the first day of school! To be prepared you need to be sure to pay attention during class, take notes that will help you, study daily, get all homework done, and ask question when you don't understand something. Be sure to start preparing ahead of time so you have enough time to study and are not cramming the night before for the test.
Be sure to pay attention in class, often teachers will give hints about what will be on a test/quiz or what to study to prepare. If you are unsure of something be sure to ask.
Ask your teacher what will be the main focus of a test or quiz.
Be sure to look over homework, study guides, practice tests, class notes, textbooks, class work, and any other material you may have to review for the test.
Be sure to eat breakfast before a big test. (Really you should eat breakfast everday as it's the most important meal of the day!) Eating breakfast will give you energy and help you be focused when taking your test/quiz.
Make a study sheet where you put the main ideas and important information that you can review quickly and often. This will help make it easier to remember the information when you are taking the test.
